Discovering the meaning and intention behind the narratives, messages, and teachings of the Bible as a whole is what Biblical Theology is all about. This study delves deeply into the historical, cultural, and literary contexts of the Scriptures, offering a remarkable insight into the nature and will of God. For the Eastern Orthodox Church, Biblical Theology is an essential part of Christian theology, as it provides a foundation for interpreting the Holy Scriptures and recognizing their worth in the context of the Christian faith. As believers in Orthodox Christianity, they greatly emphasize interpreting the Bible in light of the broader Christian tradition and regarding it as the holy-inspired Word of God.
